Different approaches to viewing and management the databases objects using a console, namely, Text User Interface (TUI), will be considered. Overview of TUI-development tools will be given. Keeping in mind advantages and disadvantages of the command line,
we will build a TUI-application based on Midnight Commander. Demo database from Postgres Professional company will be used. The talk will be interesting not only to DBA but also to any *nix user.
